Our sustainability roadmap aligns our purpose with the United Nations SDGs and stakeholder priorities, featuring environmental, social, and governance (ESG) targets. The Mejora Tankvaart B.V Life Saving Rules actively promote safe behaviour to ensure the safety of people involved in our operations.
At each terminal, we measure everything on a daily basis. We establish global best practices and raise our standards in this way. Continuous measurement translates into continuous improvement of our safety program’s performance. Regular Safety Observation Rounds are conducted by a group of operators and management. They are taught to recognize areas in which advancements are possible. Their results are noted, evaluated, and taken into consideration.

Innovative, sustainable solutions that lessen the environmental and carbon impact of our new and current terminals are continually being invested in by us.
Investing in vapour recovery technology to minimize the impact of our loading operations, building strippers to produce low-sulfur naphtha, weaning our terminals off the gas grid, using solar-generated vehicles to power our plant vehicles, and investing in waste gas treatment to reduce emissions are just a few specific examples from our terminals. We envision a society in which all people have access to energy, as well as other necessities like renewable energy sources and future energy solutions.
